Dragon Age 4 Teaser Trailer Revealed At The Game Awards (VIDEO)

Last week, the folks over at BioWare made the surprising announcement that some “secret Dragon Age stuff” was being worked on by the developer, and fans could expect to hear more about it in the coming month. A new report recently surfaced that stated that the news would involve the big reveal of Dragon Age 4, and that some sort of trailer would be shown during The Game Awards. Now, with this year’s show in full swing, BioWare has come through on its promise in a big way and revealed the first trailer for Dragon Age 4. Check it out below:

As exciting as the teaser trailer was, the game is unfortunately at least three years away, with BioWare taking a page out of Bethesda’s book for its extremely early The Elder Scrolls VI reveal. That said, at least we now know it’s coming, and we can brush up on our Dragon Age lore and play through the trilogy to our heart’s content while we wait for new information on it. Given the vocal appearance of our friend the ‘Dread Wolf,’ changes are high that we may be getting a chance to explore the dangerous lands of the Tevinter Imperium. Here’s a message from BioWare’s Mark Darrah and Matthew Goldman regarding the new Dragon Age game:

Hey everyone,

We have been working on a new Dragon Age game for quite a while now and I am pleased to finally tease the existence of this project! While we won’t be sharing any details for now, I can tell you we have been building a new team around a core of Dragon Age veterans, people I’ve worked with on Dragon Age, Jade Empire, and some of whom I’ve worked with since the Baldur’s Gate days. While I have been focused on Anthem, the rest of the team has been hard at work exploring ways to push BioWare’s storytelling to the next level.

I’m so excited to show you more!”
