Devil May Cry 5 Mod Brings Kylo Ren To The Fray (VIDEO)

Devil May Cry 5 introduced a new character named V, a man whose mysterious origins is later cleared up during the events of the epic story. Coincidentally, the character seems to bear a striking resemblance to one Adam Driver, the actor who plays Kylo Ren in the latest Star Wars trilogy. While the developers at Capcom have denied any sort of influence that Driver or his character might have had on V, it’s hard not to see the similarities. Now, it is possible to play as Ren rather than V thanks to a new mod for the game.

The mod is made by Nxus64 and can be found over at NexusMods, and it converts some aspects of the character to make it appear more like the leader of the First Order. Not only does it replace V’s outfit for Kylo Ren’s, but it also changes that character’s silver metal cane into Kylo’s lightsaber, complete with cross-guard vents and all. Unfortunately, the animations of the game don’t exactly sync up all that well with the lightsaber and Kylo/V can be seen grabbing the blade quite often, breaking the immersion. Still, the mod itself still does an admirable job for what it’s shooting for.

Devil May Cry 5 was released earlier this year for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Will you be playing as Kylo Ren within the game? Are there any other exciting mods that you’ve seen for the title?
