It’s time! Fans that have come to enjoy the first title, the original Destiny, have been excited to see the huge overhaul the team is coming up with in response to the overwhelming amount of fan feedback. From stronger story, to more events, to different weapons and classes, even down to the voice acting – so much of these complaints were heard and implemented into the creation of the sequel and can be seen in the video below for Destiny 2’s first gameplay reveal! The trailer features fan favourites with a blend of comedy and foreboding – battle stations are called as a new threat looms before Cayde-6 and the group. An intense fire fight that ends with an ominous voice stating “Your journey ends here”. A fight for survival, a fight against a new foe in new lands in an effort to take back their home, and a finally – a whole lot of story.

The sparrow makes its epic return among many other guardian favourites. The gameplay video featured action in-game content with cut scene variations to provide an organic, yet enticing feel of what is to come. The trailer provided an in-depth look at the story that was promised to be bigger than ever and just want fans have been asking for. So what about that PC exclusivity? During the show, the announcement was made that Destiny 2 will only be available through Blizzard’s Battle.net, which does make a certain amount of sense give that Activision is the parent company of Blizzard. With the popularity of Overwatch spiraling beyond anyone’s expectations, this platform of choice is seeing more action than ever before.

Destiny 2 for PC will offer “4K resolution support, an uncapped framerate, full mouse and keyboard support with custom key mapping, text chat, an adjustable field of view, a detailed PC settings screen, and 21:9 monitor support”. Not too shabby, if you ask us.

Destiny 2 will be available on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 in Fall of 2017. If pre-ordered, Guardians will have early access to an exclusive beta of the game, an open beta will be available later on sometime this Summer.
