Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Reveals New Outbreak Trailer (VIDEO)
Zombies modes have been a staple of the Call of Duty: Black Ops franchise for a long time, giving players a chance to take on unique cooperative content that’s been expanded with new activities, weapons, as well as bigger and tougher zombies to fight through. Now it seems Treyarch is looking to going further than they ever have before with the most recent title, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. The franchise has yet to dip its toes into the realm of open worlds when it comes to zombies, but a new trailer indicates that won’t be the case for much longer.
Treyarch recently teased the upcoming update as a part of the launch of Season 2, bringing players an open world filled with challenges to complete, with some even transporting the team into new maps entirely. According to the Call of Duty developers, Outbreak will continue the Dark Aether story and will be set within the Ural Mountains in Russia. The trailer shows off some intense action with new skills, upgrades, and more to give players an edge as they fight through the swaths of zombies across multiple new zones.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is currently available for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.
