New Destiny 2 Iron Banner Details – First Chance For PC Players To Enjoy This Event!

Destiny 2: Iron Banner

Destiny 2 PC players are finally going to get a taste of the ‘Iron Banner’ pie that the title’s console players have already been enjoying since launch. In the latest ‘This Week at Bungie’ blog post, the developer revealed some details surrounding next week’s event, which also happens to be the first (and last) time PC players can obtain the Season 1 Iron Banner rewards: the Season 1 emblem, and the Radegast shader.

Running from November 21 to November 28, 2017, Bungie has revealed that the upcoming Iron Banner event is a rather straightforward 4v4 deathmatch, titled ‘Clash’. There are a few rewards to be had by partaking in the event, and the reputation tokens players can pick up can be handed over to Saladin for said rewards. In addition to simply partaking in the event, players can also earn additional token rewards by completing daily challenges, which will be tracked with Milestones. Exciting as it all may be, there are a few prerequisites players will need to take care of before joining in the 4v4 fun.

Those looking to team up for the Clash deathmatch event will have had to complete the entire Destiny 2 campaign. Once complete, players will need to make their way to Lord Saladin in a slightly spoiler-y location and accept the Iron Banner Quest. Once the quest is accepted, players can access the Iron Banner playlist via your Director, next to a few of the other Crucible modes. Again, PC players should take note that this is the only time they can obtain the Season 1 Iron Banner emblem, as well as the Radegast shader. Destiny 2 is currently available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
