Anthem Publisher “Pleased” With Fan Excitement For The Game

Anthem Publisher Reportedly "Pleased" With Fan Excitement Thus Far

Not to understate things, but Electronic Arts has quite a lot riding on the success of Anthem. While the future of BioWare does not fall to the success of the upcoming game, the precious tidbits of trust the publisher has slowly been building since its mishandling of Mass Effect and Star Wars titles is decidedly on the line. Thankfully, EA seems to be pretty happy thus far with the building excitement for the game.

In a recent investor call, EA’s Chief Executive Officer discussed how “pleased” the publisher has been with the reception of the game, particularly in regards to the EA Play demo sessions that were recently held for Anthem. According to Andrew Wilson, “We’re also pleased with the excitement building for Anthem, a new IP set to launch in February. Our EA Play demo sessions for Anthem were packed from beginning to end, and we’re continuing to see great interest and anticipation from fans wanting to learn more.”

BioWare is building incredible depth and innovation in this new shared world experience, and we look forward to sharing much more with our players in the months ahead, including pre-launch opportunities to jump into the game.”

The above quote is exciting news, as this means that even more fans looking forward to Anthem’s arrival will get a chance to test it out before it releases next year. For those that are counting down the days, Anthem arrives on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on February 22nd, 2019.
