Andromeda Could Be the Biggest Mass Effect Title Yet – “Beginner Friendly”
If you’re anything like us at Don’t Feed the Gamers, you are certainly not sick of hearing about Mass Effect: Andromeda yet. With only a month to go until its release, we still have so much more to learn about! Exactly how much alien booty will the Ryder siblings be able to handle? Do we get a sweet aquarium? These are the hard hitting questions, folks! One such question we hadn’t anticipated being answered is “Will this be the biggest Mass Effect title yet?” According to Andromeda lead designer Ian S. Frazier, it’s leaning towards a “possibly”:

When Mass Effect producer Michael Gamble was “reminded” on Twitter that the new title is only a month away, he tweeted, “Plan your sick days now, people.” This, of course, is true. You should plan ahead. Hell, take a week and enjoy yourself! Bad habits aside, a fan responded to Gamble, saying that they “nearly took a 2nd day so I could finish” ME3, which was kind of lengthy. It was at this point that Frazier joined the conversation. He simply said, “Players are going to….need more days for this one.” In the following exchange, Ian is just teasing everyone:

Another thing that was brought up in this drizzle of tweets was lore and how knowledgeable one would have to be in order to succeed in Andromeda. After a fan asked something along these lines, Frazier said that the title will be “very beginner friendly.” This can be very good for those looking to get into the franchise without having to go back and play the original trilogy.
