The world of Blizzard Entertainment’s popular first-person shooter is one that only keeps expanding. With the addition of digital shorts that dive deep into characters’ pasts, new heroes, seasonal events, comics, and more, Overwatch has created a realm that many escape to when needed. Toss in the fans and their creations and the world only gets bigger. Thanks to a recent fan-made video, however, we get to see a scenario play out that many have wanted for some time: The Overwatch Jetpack Cat origin story.

After Overwatch was released and shot straight to the stars, it was revealed that one of the first character designs was that of a cat that sported a jetpack. Obviously, fans are all about it and would still very much love to see the hero make the roster. With the recent addition of the game’s 27th hero, Brigitte Lindholm, we saw a nod to the feline combatant in the teasers leading up to the official reveal. While the Overwatch Jetpack Cat origin story doesn’t come directly from Blizzard, we can’t help but think they might actually approve of the adorableness that goes on. Created by YouTuber “To Binge”, the hilarious video can be seen below:

As seen in the video above, the cat in question belongs to Brigitte, Torbjorn’s daughter and the latest hero added to the game. We see everything from the little ball of fluff’s point of view. The “evil vacuums” took their human and in order to get her back, the cat takes up arms by creating an exoskeleton equipped with a jetpack and machine guns. The cat then comes to the rescue of Brigitte, Reinhardt (Grandad), and Torbjorn (Garden Gnome) in glorious fashion!

While we won’t likely see this feline hero in-game anytime soon, the fan-made Overwatch Jetpack Cat origin story has provided more than enough in terms of laughs and warm, fuzzy feelings.
