State Of Decay 2 Gameplay Footage Shows Off In-Depth Multiplayer Action (VIDEO)
There are a lot of zombie games out there, but the challenge, tactics, and planning players must do to take on hordes of the undead while surviving the open world. Though there will be plenty of time for to slaughter them, players also need to take into consideration basic human needs as well. In the latest State of Decay 2 gameplay footage, Undead Labs shows off their latest zombie survival’s multiplayer action.
In a 25 minute video seen below, IGN First shows off State of Decay 2 gameplay footage of the 4-player co-op, a highly requested feature from fans of the original game to move forward with in the sequel. At first glance, the overall look and feel of the game has improved greatly since the first with smoother movements and finishing move animation. There are even emotes and quick dialogue options that can be used to interact with other players when a mic isn’t handy. Especially as a fan of the series, watching the entirety of the video below won’t disappoint:
Much like the first game, the objective and set up of the map feels more like you’re hunting zombies rather than the other way around, which makes the game comparable to titles such as Grand Theft Auto with zombies. They are wandering corpses after all. To incorporate more RPG aspects and make for a tangible storyline, there are quests and tasks to take on as well to earn experience, gear, and other useful items. It also means helping out fellow human being in need of assistance.
State of Decay 2 is slated for release on May 22nd, 2018 for PC and Xbox One for $29.99 (standard edition pre-order). What do you think of the State of Decay 2 gameplay footage?
