Sons Of The Forest Trailer Shows Off Creepy New Content (VIDEO)

Sons Of The Forest

The idea of surviving on an island surrounded by cannibals who want nothing more than to eat the flesh of outsiders is terrifying enough as it is. The Forest was one such horror, dropping players onto an isle surrounded by caves, cannibal humanoids, and a whole lot of mystery. Following its big reveal last year, players are set to enjoy a sequel called Sons of the Forest, where fans will see new enemies, more frightening encounters, and more. A new trailer has arrived showing off some of the creepy cannibal enemies that will make an appearance in the game alongside new environments, tools, and weapo0ns to help fans survive.

Similar to the first title, Sons of the Forest will see players crash land on an island where they’re forced to survive. Fans will see themselves building bases out of the surrounding environment and exploring the island to uncover all existing secrets. The trailer also shows off some interesting modern architecture and technology, whether this exists on the island itself or serves as a flashback of some sort remains to be seen. It also appears as though players will be able to take advantage of quite a few new tools and weapons to help as players make their way around the island. Regardless, it will be interesting what the next iteration in the franchise will be able to deliver.

As suggested by the trailer’s ending, Sons of the Forest is set to release sometime in 2021. There’s no word which platforms may be supported, but it’s likely the title will at least be available on PC, as with the first Forest game in 2018.
