More EA Games Arrive On Steam, Including The Sims 4 And Titanfall 2
While it was slow-going in the beginning, it appears that Electronic Arts’ partnership with Steam is finally in full swing, with a bevy of popular titles being added to the storefront over the last few weeks. A library that started all the way back with Jedi Fallen Order has recently ascended into dozens of fresh and returning titles on the Valve platform, including the likes of Dragon Age: Inquisition, Need For Speed, as well as the newly-released Command & Conquer Remastered Collection. Hot on the heels of the recent EA Play presentation, another batch of EA games has now arrived.
Announced during the event and subsequently appearing on Steam, a number of new games have made their debut, including the likes of The Sims 4 and Titanfall 2. Of course, several other favorites are also available on the platform such as Dead Space 3, Hazelight Studios’ A Way Out, as well as the addition of Need For Speed titles Payback and Most Wanted (2012). This homecoming also includes all the DLC for each respective title as well as future releases such as Madden and FIFA 21, explosive shooter Rocket Arena, space pilot title Star Wars Squadrons, as well as a TBD arrival for battle royale Apex Legends.
This is only the latest games to have appeared on the service in the last month, with several more following suit in the last week alone. As per Prima Games, a bounty of titles from DICE’s Battlefield series (1, 3, 4, 5, Hardline), both of the new Star Wars Battlefront games, as well as Mass Effect 3 and Andromeda have also joined the ranks of Steam, with even more set to arrive this fall with the debut of EA Access on Steam. Of course, with so many EA games coming to Steam, one has to wonder what might happen to EA’s own PC storefront Origin now that its offerings are becoming less and less exclusive.
