Bethesda Boss Offers Positive Feedback On PS5’s DualSense Controller
Love it or hate it, the recently revealed DualSense has been acknowledged as the official controller for the – still – unrevealed PlayStation 5. Packed full of plenty of features that will enable developers to do more with their games, the DualSense controller features an interesting two-tone look as well as plenty of the basic amenities that helped make the DualShock 4 stand out as an excellent controller. Now, Bethesda boss Pete Hines has weighed in with his thoughts on the DualSense, and it seems like he’s a fan.
PlayStation UK sent out a tweet a few days ago announcing the DualSense to the masses. Pete Hines retweeted Sony’s message while offering up some positive feedback for the controller, revealing that he had a chance to test out the device’s adaptive triggers and haptic feedback and was “very impressed” with the results. Full tweet below:
I’ve gotten to try the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers on this thing and was very impressed. I think games are gonna do some really cool things with them. https://t.co/zZQJrTHfl6

The Bethesda boss was then asked how the DualSense felt in comparison to the PS4 controller, the DualShock 4. “You sort of immediately forget about a PS4 controller,” Hines began. “I went back and forth between them and you immediately just want to use the PS5.” He isn’t the only one, as fans have been dying to even get a glimpse of what the highly anticipated console looks like. Here’s hoping Sony will pull back the curtain soon.
The PS5 is expected to be released in Holiday 2020.
