Xbox One Companion App Now Lets Players Join And Create Parties From Mobile Devices
Microsoft’s Xbox One companion app is a useful tool providing players handy functions such as a keyboard for fas typing in-game, a remote control, and much more. For a long time, players were only able to create and join parties either from their consoles or through the use of the PC Xbox app. However, this highly requested feature is being added to the companion app giving gamers a chance to hook up with their pals in voice chat on the go.

Gamers without a microphone that can work on the Xbox One were generally out of luck, the added mobile support will finally give them a chance to join in. The mobile parties will also provide those hardcore teams out there with a way of communicating when they aren’t sitting in front of their consoles. The feature is a great step for the Xbox One, bringing even more versatility and accessibility for players everywhere.
The Xbox companion app is available for iOS and Android devices. Users will need to download the latest update before using the new party chat functions.
