Looks Like Diablo 2 Isn’t the Only Possible Blizzard Remaster – Warcraft 3 on the Table
We have previously reported that a few new job listings pointed towards Blizzard gearing up for a Diablo 2 remaster but looks like that won’t be the only title possibly getting a revamp. Warcraft 3 may be joining the ranks of remastered games according to another Blizzard post, check out the job listing description for a Senior Software Engineer below and see for yourself:
Compelling stories. Intense multiplayer. Endless replayability. Qualities that made StarCraft, Warcraft III, and Diablo II the titans of their day. Evolving operating systems, hardware, and online services have made them more difficult to be experienced by their loyal followers or reaching a new generation. We’re restoring them to glory, and we need your engineering talents, your passion, and your ability to get tough jobs done.”
Similar postings like this have been seen throughout the year and Blizzard seems to be of a nostalgic mind with their StarCraft remaster on the horizon. A few of the other postings seen suggest a modernization of the menus in the previous titles which all points to … you guessed it … a remaster.
Are you a Blizzard fan? It seems that the popular trend in both gaming and movies is the remakes and remasters of old classics. Are you a fan of this move?
