Snapchat Filters Have Arrived On Twitch
Snapchat is a mobile application that became popular because of its hilarious filters. Now the company is branching out by bringing this feature to not only PC, but to the popular streaming service Twitch as well.
The Snap Camera allows users to apply Snapchat filters to any webcam attached to a user’s PC. Not only can users use the wide variety of filters Snapchat has to offer but streaming games on Twitch will have an added bonus. Fans will be able to use filters from games such as League of Legends, World of Warcraft, and Overwatch to become their favorite characters.
Streamers will also be able to set restrictions on certain filters for different viewer tiers as well as use special filters as a thank you for new subscriptions. Through the use of hotkeys streamers can set up different filters to pop up on command such as ones to show rage when they lose a game or life, capture moments of triumph, and more.
Fans can download the Snap Camera for themselves right now with versions on both Windows and Mac. Whether you love them or hate them, the various Snapchat filters are a prime example of what can be accomplished with the use of Augmented Reality.
