Red Dead Redemption 2 Devs’ Next Project Revealed (RUMOR)

Red Dead Redemption 2 Devs' Next Project Revealed (RUMOR)

With Red Dead Redemption 2 finally arriving on consoles, fans of the series are already sinking their teeth into all the Western-themed open world title has to offer. This of course begs the question “What’s next?” for Rockstar Games. Now, it appears that we have some semblance of what’s to come thanks to, of all things, an actor’s resume.

A YouTuber by the name of SWEGTA posted a video referencing the resume of Jared Johnston, which comes from a “reliable anonymous source.” Represented by UGA and listed as a member of SAG-AFTRA (the former is a talent-centered agency, the latter is an American labor union), one of Johnston’s voice-over acting credits is “Fiyero,” which mentions multiple roles and is listed under Rockstar Games. When one thinks of ‘multiple roles’ they will likely think of a game such as Skyrim, which employs just a few actors to voice numerous characters for the title.

While Fiyero has the potential to be the title of a video game, it is more than likely a codename for a different title, potentially even a sequel to another Rockstar Games title. There was a rumor from earlier this month that suggested a casting call had gone out for Bully 2, although concept art for the sequel leaked as far back as last year. Another potential option for Fiyero is none other than Grand Theft Auto VI, though there is little evidence to support this outside of the fact that Johnston has himself listed as multiple characters. For now we can simple wait and wonder, though in the meantime at least we have Red Dead Redemption 2 to keep us busy.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is now available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
