Total War: Three Kingdoms Launch Trailer Features A Man Of The People (VIDEO)

Total War

The Total War franchise is a series of turn-based strategy games where players can choose between differing factions led by a warlord who aims to become the next ultimate ruler of the land. The latest installment in the franchise, Total War: Three Kingdoms, is quickly approaching its launch date and the developers have released a new trailer showcasing one of the warlords

The latest launch trailer focuses on Lie Bei, a historical figure who lacked the material resources and social status that many of his rivals had. Instead, the warlord gathered the support of the disheartened Han loyalists in order to overcome his shortcomings and early defeats. The trailer shows off this aspect of Liu Bei, falling early on in the video only to be picked up and given strength to carry on through his loyal subjects.

The events of Total War: Three Kingdoms are set within the historical account of the Three Kingdoms period where China was in a constant state of flux between different controlling factions. The most recent trailer played up may have played up Liu Bei but there are other warlords players will be able to take control of as well such as Cao Cao the strategist with great skill at maneuvering the political landscape in his favor, the brave and resourceful warrior Sun Jian, or even the charismatic and noble leader  known as Yuan Shao.

Total War: Three Kingdoms is set to arrive on May 23rd for PC. Let us know your thoughts on the Liu Bei launch trailer and more in the comments section below. As always, don’t forget to follow Don’t Feed the Gamers on Twitter for 24/7 coverage of all things gaming and entertainment.
