The Witcher’s ‘Toss A Coin’ Song Added To Beat Saber (VIDEO)
Netflix’s The Witcher is off to a massively successful start thus far, garnering praise far and wide for its smart writing and excellent performances from Henry Cavill, Anya Chalotra, and Freya Allan. One of the more surprising elements of the show is the bard song ‘Toss A Coin To Your Witcher’ by Jaskier actor Joey Batey, with the song itself jumping in popularity both within the show and without as viewers progress through the episodes. As such, the song has officially made the jump onto VR video game Beat Saber.
For those unfamiliar with Beat Saber, the VR game charges the player with swinging two sabers at alternating blue and red colored blocks to the beat of whatever song is playing. I didn’t personally expect ‘Toss a Coin’ to work particularly well as a Beat Saber song, though I’m presently surprised that it’s still pretty epic without the show’s visuals to tie it together. Check it out below:
In related news, ‘Toss a Coin’ has been making its way across the internet into a variety of memes and fan-made videos. One such video actually represents a crossover between The Witcher and The Mandalorian, and sees Baby Yoda turning on a holo-vid of Jasier’s ‘Toss a Coin’ performance while on Mando’s ship. It’s honestly quite hilarious, and can be seen in its entirety right here.
Season one of Netflix’s The Witcher is now available through the streaming platform.
