New The Witcher Netflix Series Posters Put The Spotlight On Yennefer And Ciri

Witcher Netflix series posters

As The Witcher Netflix series inches closer and closer to its premiere date, fans of the tales of Geralt of Rivia and company are eager for any further tastes of the series ahead of its launch. The series surprised many recently with the confirmation that this live action adaptation will opt to focus on female characters Ciri and Yennefer, as opposed to the franchise’s usual positioning of Geralt as the central figure of the story. Now, some new The Witcher Netflix series posters have surfaced that reflect this choice to put the spotlight on Ciri and Yennefer with this iteration.

Fan account The Witcher – Netflix on Twitter recently revealed the new Witcher Netflix series posters that feature Anya Chalotra as Yennefer and Freya Allan as Princess Ciri. The one poster for Yennefer shows her wearing the black sorceress outfit that she has been seen wearing in the trailers for the show so far. The post includes two new posters for Princess Ciri, one of them in her ornate regal attire, while the other image shows her in a less flashy and hooded outfit, supposedly one she will wear when she wishes to walk amongst the commonfolk in the series.

The account also recently included a behind the scenes image of Anya Chalotra behind the camera in an on-location shoot in what appears to be a desert area. No context is given for this image or the other posters, but for fans desperate for any updates on the show, hopefully these will cast a spell on their impatience.
