With December here, the wait for Netflix ‘s new live-action Witcher series is only days away. The project has excited many fans since being announced, but the excitement has only peaked since it was announced that Henry Cavill would be starring as Geralt of Rivia. The actor has cemented himself as the right casting choice for his vocal appreciation for The Witcher books and video games, but Cavill also hasn’t been shy about his love of other titles, namely Overwatch. In a new interview, Cavill has now revealed who his Overwatch main is, but his answer may come as a disappointment to some.

As shared in a video from Twitter user Sergioees, Henry Cavill recently engaged in a public press Q&A session to promote the upcoming Witcher Netflix series. Considering Cavill’s publicly-expressed love of video games, one member of the press inevitably asked Cavill who his Overwatch main is. Answering, Cavill admitted that was he initially into another hero-based multiplayer game when Overwatch launched (possibly Battleborn), which caused him to forgo playing until earlier this year. Upon switching to Overwatch, he revealed that he opted for one particular Overwatch character: Symmetra.

While this choice of main is likely to be controversial, Cavill defended his reasoning for the choice by saying, “No one picks it because it’s quite hard to play and it’s a Support character. And now everyone hates this character because of whatever updates they had.” The questioning press-member actually reassured Cavill by saying “Oh no, she’s great.” But Cavill assured the widespread contempt for the character, retorting with, “Everyone hates me. I either can’t play or I’m just on easy mode.”

While some may not be fans of Symmetra’s position as a turret and teleporter-placing support character, one can’t deny Cavill’s eagerness to serve his teams proudly. He also can’t be blamed for choosing to spend his leisure time with such a fun game. In a similar fashion to Netflix’s The Witcher, maybe one day we’ll see Cavill star as McCree or Winston in a live-action Overwatch series!
