Next week, the fourth and final episode of The Walking Dead: The Final Season arrives and with it ties off the story of Clementine, a multi-faceted character that grew within the hearts of fans since day one. Since the disintegration developer Telltale, Skybound struck a deal with said company to complete Clementine and AJ’s narrative to everyone’s delight. Soon, it comes to an end. In the freshly released trailer below, the fourth episode is titled “Take Us Back,” and revisits the content within Episode 3: Broken Toys.

“Clementine and AJ’s journey is nearly at its end,” reads the synopsis. “But with an explosive cliffhanger before the finale, how will the survivors fare against foes both alive and undead?” For those who wish to have a physical copy of this season finale, Skybound is offering a CD release of “Take Us Back”.

Despite Skybound’s takeover of The Walking Dead: The Final Season, the road to reinstating the development of this beloved series wasn’t easy. There were lengthy legal discussions and and most of the staff working on the Final Season were original developers who were just as passionate about the game as others in the community. It’s been an emotional journey for all, but the folks that put blood, sweat, and tears into this game wanted to give Clementine and AJ the ending they deserve.
