PUBG Mobile Walking Dead Crossover Event Announced

PUBG Mobile Walking Dead

It has been nearly a decade since The Walking Dead television series first premiered, and the series still continues to be one of the most watched shows on television. The Walking Dead helped usher in a new era of big budget television series and the streaming era of the medium. PUBG similarly helped popularize the battle royale mode, which now seems ever present in multiplayer gaming. PUBG has participated in many cross promotions, such as ones with KFC and Resident Evil, and now a new PUBG Mobile Walking Dead crossover event has been announced to celebrate the show’s upcoming tenth season premiere.

As reported on Prima Games, PUBG recently announced the new PUBG Mobile Walking Dead crossover event. The new crossover comes just days before the tenth season premiere of The Walking Dead on AMC. Players on mobile will be able to access several in-game skins and items based on characters and elements from the tv series.

Among the new skins are those based on Daryl Dixon, Michonne, Negan and Rick Grimes, who departed from the tv show last season. Daryl fans will also be able to take his motorcycle for a spin. As for weapons, Michonne’s katana and Negan’s iconic barbed wire baseball bat Lucille are welcome additions to any melee arsenal. The crossover begins tomorrow, and will run until early 2020, which is plenty of time for any PUBG player to obtain all of these new additions. The real challenge will be picking which one to try out first. May we suggest playing Eenie Meanie Miney Mo? It’s what Negan would want.
