The Walking Dead: The Final Season Episode 4, Physical Edition Announced

The Final Season of Telltale’s The Walking Dead saw it’s return this past January, marking the continuation of Clementine’s story following the majority closure of Telltale Games. Since Skybound Games officially took over the reins, the episodic series has seen the release of its penultimate entry “Broken Toys,” setting the stage for the story’s ultimate finale.

The release date for the next episode has now been announced, Skybound confirming the season’s fourth and final episode, titled “Take Us Back,” will go live on March 26th. Alongside this digital release, it was announced that a physical disc version of the game was also on the way, compiling all four episodes of Clem’s final chapter in one complete package. Official box art for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One were revealed in the announcement, which can be viewed below.

Not much else about Episode 4 or the planned physical release was revealed, but the announcement should nonetheless be a welcome sight for fans. Every season thus far has been released physically for modern systems and would present a real shame if the these last episodes were left exclusive to digital.
