The Last Of Us Part II Reportedly Getting An Update Before E3, 2019 Release
Naughty Dog has for the most part done a great job at keeping The Last of Us: Part II shrouded in mystery, with only the occasional unsubstantiated leak trickling out during the game’s lengthy development period. Now, it appears that yet another leak is suggesting that we’ll have new The Last of Us: Part II news prior to E3 2019, with the upcoming game allegedly being released later this year.
The leak comes by way of ResetEra, wherein a well-known leaker by the name of Aokiji stated that we’ll be “getting an official TLOU2 update before E3,” while also dropping the news that the game will have a 2019 release date. This certainly isn’t the first time we’ve heard that the title will be releasing in 2019, as even the composer for the game’s soundtrack revealed earlier this year that we should expect to see the title “very soon.”
Given the fact that Sony previously announced that it was pulling out of E3 2019, there seems to be less and less hype to look forward to for the conference as a whole. Even the folks over at Microsoft put as much time and effort in its ‘Road to E3’ as the expo itself, so it should be no surprise that we may be hearing official TLOU2 news with out the pomp and circumstance of a big event. Without any given time table, though, for now all we can do is wait.
The Last of Us: Part II will release at some point in the future exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
