The Last of Us Part II Release Date Teased By Composer (VIDEO)

The Last of Us Part II

One of the bigger mysteries in the gaming world is the elusive release date for the highly-anticipated sequel to 2013’s The Last of Us. We’ve seen trailers and have learned plenty of details about the upcoming game, but when exactly will The Last of Us Part II be arriving?

Well, according to the game’s composer, Gustavo Santaolalla, fans should expect to see the title “very soon.” During a recent show in Kuwait, Santaolalla spoke about performing tracks from the original game as well as the upcoming sequel. According to him, The Last of Us Part II isn’t too far away. Check out the footage for yourself below, which was posted by Reddit user DragonDDark:

Of course, nobody knows exactly how soon “very soon” is. It has nearly been six years since the first title exploded onto the gaming scene, so it is anyone’s guess as to when Naughty Dog and Sony intend on informing fans when they’ll be able to continue the amazing experience.

2019 just might be the year we get The Last of Us Part II, but only time will tell. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
