The Division 2 Looking To Improve Character Build Viability And Variety

The Division 2 has seen a lot of growth over the last year, with the introduction of the Warlords of New York DLC as well as a variety of added content like The Summit, seasons, and more. As the game enters its third year, the developers at Ubisoft are looking to increase the longevity of the title even further. Now some new information has arrived giving fans a few tidbits of information concerning the future of The Division 2 including new ways to grow as Agents within the game.

A recent blog post from Ubisoft expressed pride over what the team has managed to accomplish last year, drawing in over 40 million unique Agents exploring and fighting through the streets of Washington D.C. and New York. The team also takes a moment to appreciate fans who have helped make the game what it is today before jumping into the real meat and potatoes of the post. On top of an announcement concerning a new game mode, the post also explains the team is looking at various ways to help the Agent’s growth, While there was no mention as to how they plan on accomplishing this, the developers explained they aim to give players more freedom and creativity in the variety and viability of the different builds that can be made within The Division 2.

The Division 2 is currently available for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Google Stadia. The next big Title Update is still in the early stages of development, and as such, is set to launch sometime late this year. In the meantime, the developers are looking to re-release previous Seasons that ran throughout 2020, giving players a chance to obtain any loot they may have missed the first time around. The game will also have plenty of new smaller updates and events aimed at maintaining a nice healthy experience overall.
