The Division 2 Lets Players Steal The Declaration Of Independence

Division 2

The Division 2 private beta has arrived and players are beginning to find their way around a post-apocalyptic Washington D.C. The beta is filled with small treats for players to find along the way from iconic buildings such as the White House  or the National Archives building, home of the Declaration of Independence. The developers even threw in a hilarious National Treasure Easter egg, tasking players to “steal” the iconic American document.

After a little time in the beta, players are given a side quest within the National Archives Building in Washington D.C. and they get to take on the role of good ol’ Nicolas Cage by fighting through a group of enemies called the True Sons before retrieving and delivering the historic document to a nearby settlement. Rather than the motivation of stealing the Declaration of Independence in order to protect it, the quest sees Division agents stealing the document for more sentimental reasons, not a terrible way to initiate the Easter egg.

Division 2

The Division 2 is set to release on March 15th for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The closed beta for the title will run from February 7th until February 11th giving players plenty of time to get a feel for the game mechanics and maybe even a taste of what’s to come when the game fully releases.
