New Street Fighter 5 Character has been Revealed Alongside New Gameplay Trailer (VIDEO)
Fans of Street Fighter 5 just got another new character to play as thanks to a new reveal trailer by Capcom released today. Veteran players will recognize her from Street Fighter III but for those who may be new to the franchise, meet Kolin:
Kolin works behind the scenes in order to fullfill the Prophecy of Miraha and stop any who dare stand in Gill’s way. She is typically calm and collected, but can suddenly fly into a rage when anybody threatens Gill and his plans. Spoiler-alert, she resurrects Nash and uses him as a pawn too, showing she will do anything to achieve her goals.”
Not a bad character description if I do say so myself, thanks Capcom. Harnessing the deadly power of ice combined with the Russian martial art style Systema – Kolin is definitely a force to be reckoned with and her loyalty to her cause is unshakable. For players that enjoyed her back in Street Fighter III, it’s nice to see another familiar face back on the roster – she’s a badass and she certainly knows it.
Kolin will be available on February 28th on both PC and the PlayStation 4. With her and her story comes a premium battle and a plethora of new costumes to get those nostalgic feels flowing. Check them out below:
If you already purchased the Season 2 Character Pass for the latest Street Fighter, then you are golden – the pass itself retails for 30 USD. The pass also includes Akuma as well as four more undisclosed characters coming a later date – more reveals to follow!
What do you think, Street Fighter fans? Excited to see Kolin back in the fight or are you one of the players upset by the unbalance many reported for the latest release?
