New Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Details Coming Soon (VIDEO)

Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order: New Story, Release Details Leak

While Titanfall developer Respawn Entertainment surprised everyone this month with the release of battle royale title Apex Legends, it seems the EA-acquired studio is still very much underway with their previously-announced Star Wars project, Jedi Fallen Order. Much about the intergalactic adventure has been so-far kept under wraps, but the developer is now willing to spill a few of these long-held secrets relatively soon.

Announced during a recent episode of The Star Wars Show, the reveal date was set to be at this year’s Star Wars Celebration in Chicago, specifically on Saturday, April 13th. A special panel consisting of EA and Respawn were said to be presenting an “exclusive first look at the game” as well as a discussion of “revealing never-before-heard details” before the game drops later this Fall. Check out the announcement in the video below at around 1:20.

More interestingly, the above announcement was accompanied by a small plot synopsis regarding Jedi Fallen Order, confirming it follows “a padawan who survived Order 66 as they explore the galaxy in the time after the fall of the Jedi Order.” This sounds remarkably similar to a leak that took place late last year, which also premised a surviving Padawan character who encounters a cast of extended universe personnel along their interstellar travels.

Of course, fans probably shouldn’t look too much into unconfirmed speculation, as it could always be proven completely false in the end. Still, with such little information released since the game’s original announcement, fans are likely to roll with whatever they can get, including release date rumors and behind-the-scenes tidbits in the meantime. Jedi Fallen Order is currently scheduled for a release sometime in Fall 2019.
