New Skyrim Mod Lets You Ride Mechagodzilla And Other Kaiju

New Skyrim Mod Lets You Ride Mechagodzilla

Skyrim, with its dubious amounts of ports and re-releases, has always been subject to a diverse amount of mods that are only continuing to grow in number with time. And yes, some are terrifying. Others, though, are really freaking awesome, like this new Skyrim mod that lets you ride a freaking Mechagodzilla, because reasons.

Back in 2015, a modder that goes by the name of gg77 created a Skyrim mod that allows players to turn themselves into a vast assortment of creatures, such as a Xenomorph, WereTiger, Frost Lurker, or even Godzilla. So yeah, it’s a pretty cool mod. You could even turn yourself into a Dark Souls Mimic, if you’re into that sort of thing. Fast forward three years later, and the same modder has created the Godzilla and Co mod, which lets players ride around on kaijus Godzilla, Mecha Godzilla, and the more bird-like Rodan. Check ’em out in the picture below:

Mechagodzilla admittedly looks a bit off, but, that’s the price you pay for riding around the countryside on your steel, er, kaiju. Unfortunately, these gigantic mounts are only useful for riding around, and do not actually contribute anything to combat. Thankfully, that’s where the mod’s monster eggs come in. Using monster eggs that can be incubated through a forge, players can throw said eggs onto the ground for each kaiju type and spawn a small army of little angry kaiju willing to do your bidding. Love doesn’t get much better than that.

The Godzilla and Co mod can be found on Nexus Mods, here.
