She-Ra Gets A New Trailer At New York Comic Con (VIDEO)

Netflix’s latest animated series, a reboot of 80’s cartoon She-Ra and the Princesses of Power is hotly anticipated. While it was initially met with heavy criticism from fans, that heat has died down as many have been given a few peeks at the progress. With a little over a month to go before release, New York Comic Con attendees got a look at a new trailer that reveals an epic story.

Laced with humor, strife, and badassery, the latest trailer for She-Ra tells the tale of an ambitious warrior that discovers she’s on the wrong side of history. Chosen by a magical sword, she shifts course to join the Princesses of Power in the rebellion against The Evil Horde. See for yourself in the trailer below:

Fans will join Adora as she helps the Princesses of Power re-establish an alliance that can stop the horde. Chosen to be She-Ra, Adora must face an enemy she once considered friends, family, and home. Overall this new series is looking to be an epic that may just blow the original out of the water, but only time will tell.

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power is developed by Noelle Stevenson and produced by DreamWorks Animation Television. The series is a reboot of the 1985 Filmation series and has enjoyed a place in the long-running DC series “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe” until March of 2017. Netflix will launch the show on November 16th through their streaming service.
