Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 was undeniably one of the breakout stars of The Game Awards, showing off an impressive and terrifying reveal trailer that aired immediately after the announcement of the Xbox Series X. The title was initially presumed to be an Xbox exclusive, though fans of the IP have begun to wonder if it will end up on PC just like the original game. Thankfully we’ve some good news, as it has been confirmed that Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 is in development for both PC and the new Xbox console.

A fan recently reached out to Xbox Games Marking GM Aaron Greenberg asking him if Hellblade 2 was in fact slated to be an Xbox exclusive. In response, Greenberg revealed that the sequel is being made “exclusively for Xbox and PC.” The original tweet can be seen below:

Given how quickly Microsoft was willing to spill the beans on Hellblade 2 also being developed for PC, chances are it wasn’t really meant to be a secret. If anything, the only reason why it wasn’t stated during The Game Awards was to ensure that the Xbox Series X would be the only platform in the spotlight. The important thing is that those that weren’t planning on getting the next Microsoft console will still be able to play Senua’s Saga on PC.

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 is currently in development for PC and Xbox Series X. There is currently no release date for either platform.
