Telltale Games has had a new adventure game in the works based on Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy for a little while now. A teaser video released last year announced the new game, also hinting that it would take inspiration from the Marvel Studios film of the same name. New images revealed by Telltale via Twitter have confirmed Telltale’s Guardians will indeed be based on the popular movie, at least in terms of visuals. The screenshots offer a few looks at the full team mixing it up in various locations, including what appears to be the Guardians’ base of Knowhere.

Also confirmed by IGN today, are the team of voice actors that will bring Telltale Guardians of the Galaxy to life, several of whom are no strangers to the world of Marvel superheroes.

  • Star-Lord – Scott Porter (Batman: Arkham KnightLego Marvel’s Avengers)
  • Gamora – Emily O’Brien (Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, World of Final Fantasy)
  • Rocket – Nolan North (Uncharted series, Deadpool)
  • Drax – Brandon Paul Eells (Watch Dogs, Sacred 2: Fallen Angel)
  • Groot – Adam Harrington (The Wolf Among Us, Battlefield Hardline)
