Following the livestream event that was going on today, the Game of Thrones teaser finally dropped for all to see. It reveals the premiere date for season 7 of this highly acclaimed series and plenty of familiar voices are there to greet you – Daenerys and Aerys Targaryen, Robert Baratheon, Cersei Lannister, and many more. Some speak rather eerie and antagonistic words while others make simple statements that may foreshadow the events to come. Of course, what trailer is complete without intense music? Check out the teaser titled “Sigils” below:

Lannister, Targaryen, Baratheon, Stark, Tyrell. They’re all just spokes on a wheel. This one’s on top, then that one’s on top, and on and on it spins. Crushing those on the ground.

No actual footage of the season is highlighted in the video, but throughout the entirety of the teaser the camera rotates around different statues and figures corresponding to each voice. That is, until Daenerys mutters the words just above. At that moment, all the stone statues come crumbling down. A great war is about to embark and it won’t differentiate any person based on their house loyalty. The question is – what can this all mean? What can it be?

Game of Thrones season 7 will premiere July 16, 2017 on HBO.
