Resident Evil Village PC System Requirements Revealed

With the highly anticipated Resident Evil Village releasing in just two short months, Capcom has finally revealed both the minimum and recommended system specs for the PC version of the game. Dates for the Re:Verse multiplayer Open Beta have been announced, with the beta officially kicking off on April 7th.

News on the minimum and recommended system specs for the PC version of Resident Evil Village comes by way of industry insider Nibel, who recently took to Twitter to reveal that Capcom has posted the info on the Japanese pre-order page for the game. According to Capcom, having a rig with 8GB of memory and a moderate setup will allow for 1080p / 60fps gameplay, while a higher-end setup with 16GB of ram will be able to reach up to 4k / 45fps and 4k / 60fps depending on the graphical options.

As previously mentioned, the Open Beta for Re:Verse – the multiplayer part of Resident Evil Village – begins on April 7th. The test itself will be available on PC via Steam, PS4, and Xbox One, and those with either a PS5 or an Xbox Series X will be able to play the Open Beta on the last-gen versions of the game. The beta starts on April 7th at 11 PM PT and ends on April 10 at 11 PM PT.

Resident Evil Village is slated to release for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X on May 7, 2021.
