For those of you waiting for that fateful January 24th release date of Resident Evil 7, take note! A special, US-based preorder bonus is being made available to fans when they pick up the game, and that preorder includes an exclusive movie download of Resident Evil Retribution.

The preorder bonus was outlined on Capcom Unity’s website, and varies depending on which system you are getting the game for. If, for instance, you’re purchasing the game for Xbox One through Xbox Live, players will receive a code via message to receive the movie as a digital download. If, on the other hand you are downloading the game for PlayStation 4 through PlayStation Network, players will receive 40% off an entire HD movie collection, which includes Resident Evil, Resident Evil: Apocalypse, Resident Evil: Extinction, Resident Evil: Afterlife, and Resident Evil: Retribution.

If, on the other hand, you’re a gamer that enjoys cracking open that brand new disk on launch day, Gamestop has you covered. Both PlayStation and Xbox preorders will receive a digital code on their receipt when they pick up their preordered title. For PlayStation 4 purchases, the code will be usable through VUDU for their copy of the movie, while Xbox One gamers will utilize their code through Xbox Live. The only downside to this exclusive give-away is the fact that the movie is only available to console gamers. If you are a PC gamer, none of the above options will be made available to you. But hey, at least you can always pick up the Resident Evil 4D candle to make your gaming experience a little more immersive while you battle the Baker family on your PC!

This isn’t the only incentive to preordering the title if you’re an avid Resident Evil fan. Those who managed to snag a copy of the collector’s edition will be receiving a lot of freaky-cool items in their box, including a replica of the Baker house/music box to add to your video game collectibles. There is, however, one item that comes to a lucky few players of the game, as Capcom release a pretty nifty looking USB drive to the Japanese Ambassador Program, as an exclusive, limited edition item. What’s so cool about it? It’s a fully bendable, severed finger! Sweet!
