Blood Candle by Resident Evil Creates More Immersive VR Experience

Blood Candle

The smell of blood lust is in the air and it has “notes of old timber, leather.” Say what? Lo and behold, Smellivision isn’t here yet. However, Resident Evil has taken it upon themselves to accommodate this unfortunate shortcoming in the tech and gaming industry. The franchise has created a candle for a more immersive and realistic virtual reality experience, and it is being sold through Merchoid – an online novelty store based in the United Kingdom. Think of it like ThinkGeek, except with a few more exclusive items. You know…like a blood candle, for example.

The website even offers wholesale and distribution possibilities. Need I say more? There are some interesting people out there who might want to experience this for themselves. For science purposes, solely, of course. The people at Merchoid have thought about your plans to squat in an abandoned house in the swamps and play Resident Evil 7, but this is a better alternative.

The best way to capture the smell of the Baker residence without heading to the bayou and looking for abandoned houses.”

What is even better about the blood candle is that it has 18-20 hours of burn time. Depending on the length of Resident Evil 7, you may be able to finish it before the wick is completely burned out. Pre-orders for the “Resident Evil 7: Wood, Sweat and Fears 4D VR Candle” are available now, and due to ship out January 20, 2017. Check out the link here for more information!

So, gamers, what do you think of the candle? Will you be pre-ordering one for yourself, or wait for the reviews? Let us know what you think in the comments section below.
