Resident Evil 2 Remake: Every Safe Code Combination Revealed

Capcom’s Resident Evil 2 Remake has finally arrived, and fans of the classic survival horror series are already sinking their teeth into all the remake has to offer. As players move about the Raccoon City Police Department, they will notice several safes and combination locks containing loads of goodies. These goodies include hip pouch bag upgrades, weapon attachments, and other various goods that should help make surviving just a bit easier. Here, we’ve listed the codes for all these locks:

Resident Evil 2 Remake: Safe and Combination Locks

  • Police Station, 3rd Floor Locker room – DCM
  • Sewers Control Room Locker – SZF
  • Shower Room 2F Locker – CAP
  • Treatment pool Room Safe – L2, R12, L8
  • Waiting Room Safe – L6, R2, L11
  • West Office Safe – L9, R15, L7

While exploring the West Office of the RPD, players controlling both Claire and Leon should come across a letter addressed to Leon assigning the rookie his ‘first task,’ which is to unlock his desk. In order to do so, they are tasked with remembering the names of Leon’s fellow officers. The answers can be found below:

  • West Office Desk Left
    • NED
  • West Office Desk Right
    • MRG

There are a few other various one or two-off puzzles that show up as the game progresses, though these require just a minute or two of busy-work before they can be solved, like the portable safes.
