Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Has A Gun That Pulls Objects From Other PlayStation Games
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is going to be quite impressive, featuring plenty of gadgets, mechanics, a Performance RT mode bringing 60 FPS and ray-tracing, and more that will give fans a delightful experience throughout their adventures. With the history that Insomniac has with PlayStation, it comes to little surprise that the team is incorporating easter eggs that reference other titles in the PlayStation universe. To that end, a new Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart weapon has been revealed that can actually pull useful objects from other PlayStation games, such as Sunset Overdrive and Horizon Zero Dawn.
A new Tweet has arrived teasing a weapon called the Ryno 8, a curious device that manages to open portals to different dimensions. Through these dimensions creatures, vehicles, and more are summoned forth to cause chaos and destruction. While the weapon itself is quite interesting, the things that arrive from this dimension are items pulled straight from various other PlayStation franchises straight into Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. A monstrous Thunderjaw from Horizon Zero Dawn, a jeep pulled from the Uncharted franchise, the raccoon thief Sly Cooper himself from those titular games slinking through, even a giant floating Fizzy blimp from Sunset Overdrive gets sucked into the interdimensional portal. Who’s to say if there are more PlayStation titles that will be pulled from, perhaps seeing something from the Spyro franchise or The Last of Us are just waiting to get pulled out of a portal.
Rivet: Look! The Seekerpede’s still on our tails! Use the RYNO 8! I got it working and right now it’s our only shot!
