New Evil Dead: The Game Trailer Reveals Epic Carnage (VIDEO)
It’s been 6 months since we have had the pleasure of talking about Evil Dead: The Game, but now we are excited to show off some new footage released during day 1 of the Summer Games Fest! Back in December, Evil Dead: The Game was revealed during The Game Awards and showed off many iconic characters from the three movies and the Starz original TV show. This time, we actually get to take a deeper dive into what the gameplay will look like. Take a look for yourself in the absolute carnage that awaits us:
As seen in the gore-filled trailer, players enter the Evil Dead universe and fight as iconic characters like Ash, Scott, Lord Arthur, and more in a bid to rid the world of the demonic plague that has befallen it. Though, for those that want to be a “dick” as eloquently put by Ash Williams, they can control the powerful Kandarian Demon and hunt down the survivors with the help of Deadites, the environment, and even the survivors themselves. Here’s the breakdown of Evil Dead: The Game courtesy of the official website:
Evil Dead: The Game is the ultimate multiplayer experience… and it’s groovy! Step into the shoes of Ash Williams or his friends from the iconic Evil Dead franchise and work together in a game loaded with over-the-top co-op and PVP multiplayer action! Play as a team of four survivors, exploring, looting, managing your fear, and finding key items to seal the breach between worlds in a game inspired by all three original Evil Dead films as well as the Starz original Ash vs Evil Dead television series.”
Evil Dead: The Game is set to release this year, with no confirmed date at this time. Fans will be able to partake in the carnage on PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch!
