The PlayStation Experience has kicked off for the day, and during its  keynote, Activision revealed a brand new trailer for its upcoming Destiny winter event. Titled The Dawning, the event gets right in the feel of the holiday season, as the trailer showcases what to expect this winter season.

From what we see, The Sparrow Racing League is making a comeback for this event, with new tracks and Sparrows to choose from. Aside from the SRL, the event will also include new quests, weapons, gear, and treasures. If you’re a PlayStation 4 owner, and have the Rise of Iron DLC, the event goes like December 13th, and runs until January 3rd.

This is a nice little cushion of entertainment for fans of the Bungie shooter. It’s also a great way to pass the time as we wait for Destiny 2 to come to our waiting arms, as promised by CEO Eric Hirshberg.
