PS5 Games Trailer Hypes Up New And Upcoming 2021 Titles (VIDEO)

PS5 Games Trailer

The PlayStation 5 has been available to the public for nearly a month now, and those lucky enough to purchase the console seem to be loving it so far. While the next-gen device has been notoriously difficult to obtain, as hilariously noted by Saturday Night Live last weekend, the public still favors the console and its games released so far quite positively. That said, the quite well-received launch library is somewhat small, leaving users looking forward to new games to arrive for the PS5. Now, Sony has released a new PS5 games trailer to generate hype for the games coming in 2021.

Sony released the new PS5 games trailer on their official PlayStation YouTube channel earlier this week. The video titled “New and Upcoming Games” is quite self-explanatory; clips of games that are both currently available and scheduled to release within the next year are shown, along with descriptions of their release window and any sort of exclusivity positions they may have with the PS5. Among the currently available titles shown are Spider-Man: Miles Morales, the Dark Souls remake, Sackboy: A Big Adventure and Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War.

The first of the titles not released yet but seen in the PS5 games trailer is Horzion: Forbidden West, followed by Gran Turismo 7. The other future games seen are also Deathloop, Project Athia, Ghostwire Tokyo, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Destruction: All Stars and Resident Evil VIII: Village. All of these future titles list 2021 as their release window, but do not give more specifics beyond that. It is also confirmed that these future titles (save for Resident Evil VIII) will all either be PlayStation-exclusive or exclusive to PlayStation on consoles for a specific period starting with their launch. The PlayStation 5’s life cycle has only just begun, and this trailer shows that support from Sony and third parties has no sign of stopping any time soon. Now if they would just announce a Croc: Legend of the Gobbos remake already.
