Persona 5 Royal Western Release Window Revealed (VIDEO)

Persona 5 Royal Western Release Window Revealed (VIDEO)

It looks like Atlus is finally answering our pleas for a more narrowed down release window for Persona 5 Royal. During the publisher’s recent showcase at Gallery Nuclear in Alhambra, CA, Atlus announced that the definitive edition of Persona 5 will release in the West for the PlayStation 4 in Spring 2020, which is great news for those that have been patiently waiting ever since Persona 5 Royal was announced last year. In typical Atlus fashion, the announcement was made via a brand new trailer for the game. Check it out below:

The newest member of the Phantom Thieves, Kasumi Yoshizawa once again holds the spotlight for a good bulk of the trailer, revealing some dialogue that suggests that Joker assisted her somehow before she awakened her Persona. In addition to extra footage of the gymnast, we are also shown some more team attacks, featuring some hilarious team-ups between Ryuji and Yusuke, as well as between Ann and Morgana.

New combat mechanics aren’t the only thing fans can look forward to, as Persona 5 Royal also features a slew of non-combat related content, including new Confidants, new after school social activities, and more. This is all in addition to the as yet unseen third semester of school, which in itself should be pretty interesting given where it falls in relation to the events of the game.

Persona 5 Royal releases in Spring 2020 exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
