PC Requirements for BioWare’s Mass Effect: Andromeda Expected to be Revealed Soon

With the lengthy and detailed gameplay trailer released at last year’s video game awards, and a much smaller scale demo at 2017 CES show, there is plenty to be excited about with BioWare’s latest venture back into the Mass Effect-verse with an all new tale centering around the Ryder siblings. Much of the focus has been on the console releases, such as the PlayStation Pro’s 4K experience with the latest RPG and plans for the Switch, but it does leave PC players wondering where they fit in and what their rigs can handle. Aaryn Flynn had this to say about BioWare’s Mass Effect PC inquiries when he took to Twitter:

We are also expected to learn more about the newest Multiplayer that is expected to drop as well, that news was met with mixed enthusiasm. Many fans loved the Mass Effect 3 multiplayer implementation whereas others felt it completely unnecessary and a waste of time. No matter what side of the spectrum you yourself fall into, BioWare has assured fans that the development of Andromeda’s MP experience in no way inhibited the main game’s development, which is good news for fans of the series that were concerned about that.

Mass Effect: Andromeda’s release date has also finally been revealed with a March 21st NA (North America) date and a March 23rd for EU (Europe). The space RPG will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC with speculation on a possible Nintendo Switch release, as well – nothing is “ruled out”.

Have you already pre-ordered your ticket for this next space adventure? What are you most excited about seeing in the next storyline that BioWare is offering? Female Turians, the Salarian pilot? How about the companions we’ve met so far? Join in on the discussion in the comment section below and tell us your thoughts.
