Overwatch Customizable Skin Idea Has Fans Wanting This Feature For Real
Customization such as skins, emotes, and voice lines makes up a large portion of Overwatch, serving as rewards earned through loot boxes. Unfortunately, aside from some seasonal skins, many players are close to or have completed their collections leaving them without a goal to pursue. Without anything to work towards, any game can become stale, thankfully however some fans are beginning to brainstorm new ideas on how to make the game continue to feel fresh and alive.
According to Reddit user Redeye998, the perfect solution to this issue lies in custom color options for both heroes and weapons. Rather than spending points and credits to purchase golden weapons, players can spend that hard earned currency on the ability to fully customize a hero’s color palette.
The Reddit user does explain that the customization options would work best on original skins only, making it less confusing to identify the hero while still allowing for players to show off a more personal touch:
