Stranger Things Season Two Details Have Been Teased – Spoilers Ahead (VIDEO)

Stranger Things Season Two

Stranger Things was all the rage last year. The Netflix original series quickly became a phenomenon around the world and an instant cult classic. It was so popular, POP! Vinyl figures have been announced and are due to release soon. Many questions were left unanswered, however, so Stranger Things season two has been much anticipated, and now we have some details on what will come. Be warned, for there are spoilers ahead. Turn back now if you have yet to watch the first season of Stranger Things.

There have been many fan theories about the show, some of which are “very close” to the truth, according to the show’s creators and lead writers, the Duffer Brothers. But some questions seem more important than others. Does Nancy still have feelings for Jonathan? What was the deal Hopper made with the “men in black”? What was that disgusting slug that Will vomited up at the end of the finale? Why does it seem that no one is bothered about Barb going missing? David Harbour, who plays Sheriff Hopper, gave away a few spoilers during a panel on the Fan2Sea Comic Con cruise, thanks to HollywoodLife:

It’s a year later in the story, so there are several things that happened last year – like Will has come back – there are certain people in the town that know what happened, and then certain people that don’t know what happened, so there’s a lot of fall out with who knows what.”

Harbour talked about some of the new cast joining Stranger Things season two, specifically mentioning Sean Astin, “He’s Winona’s new boyfriend – much to chagrin to the Chief of Police.” He couldn’t give away too much, of course, but he sure knows how to tease us – and we love it. “The question and the feelings that Nancy has that no one ever cares about her friend, Barb, are very much present in the beginning of the season.”

The Duffer Brothers seem to have picked up on the number of fans Barb gained over the last season. She’s even the main feature of the following promo shared to Netflix’s YouTube channel. Check it out for yourself:
