Back in the good ol’ days of 90’s gaming, many fans can remember when issues of the iconic gaming magazine Nintendo Power used to run. From its start, the magazine provided gaming tips, strategies, reviews and much more to Nintendo fans all across the world. While the serialization was discontinued at the end of 2012, it has made a return with the Nintendo Power Podcast which began in December of last year and recently released a second episode.

The second episode of the podcast features the co-host of Nintendo Minute Krysta Yang, Nate Bihldorff, the senior Director of Localization at Nintendo Treehouse, and the show’s host Chris Slate as they tackle the announcement of the Nintendo Labo. When Nintendo first announced the the high-end cardboard experience fans were split in their reactions. While some thought it was a “Nintendo” move being known for quirky and  unconventional ways to have child-like fun, others saw the $70 price tag as being a bit too high. Whether or not you love it or think it’s garbage, it’s definitely on the minds of Nintendo players everywhere..

In case you might have missed the first episode, Chris and his guests discussed the their “Year in Review” which featured The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. With the wide variety of topics and delightful classic music, this podcast is one to keep an eye on. Nintendo’s presence is on the rise and fans are sure to feel a warm feeling to see the company make their long-awaited comeback.

Currently the series is not available on the Google Play Music Store, though it will be arriving at an undetermined date.
