Check Out Upcoming RPG Griftlands For Your Pirate/Mercenary Fix (VIDEO)

Griftlands

Developer Klei Entertainment has always brought significant amounts of stylized visuals to its games. Titles like Don’t Starve and Invisible, Inc. mix together fun, dynamic gameplay elements with said visuals to deliver unique experiences to gamers, and the developer’s upcoming RPG Griftlands doesn’t appear to deviate from Klei Entertainment’s forte. Check out the Griftlands trailer below, which debuted at the PC Gaming Show at E3 2017:

Griftlands, the trailer hints at some of the gameplay and choices players can make while on their journey. Described as a “pirate/mercenary sandbox” by the developers, Griftlands is a game in which your actions dynamically change the world around you.  The single player game tells us that “everything is negotiable: money, loyalty—even morality.” according to the title’s official Steam page. Between the title’s turn-based combat, its devotion to questioning the player’s morality, and stylized visuals, Griftlands appears to be the distillation of Final Fantasy gameplay mixed with Fable’s morality mixed with the same art style prevalent in the majority of Klei Entertainment’s games.

Griftlands is absolutely something to keep an eye out for, and Don’t Feed the Gamers will be there to deliver the latest news on the morality sandbox game. The title currently has no release date, though it is expected to arrive at some point this year for PC, via Steam. So, thoughts on Griftlands? Plan on purchasing the game?
