Fortnite Officially Confirmed For Nintendo Switch At E3 2018 (VIDEO)

After leak after leak it was only a matter of time before Nintendo came out and said “okay, enough is enough, you win, Fortnite is coming to the Switch.” They didn’t say exactly that, but it was in fact announced just now during Nintendo’s E3 2018 presentation that Fortnite is officially coming to the Nintendo Switch. The long-anticipated port of the popular battle royale title is also coming just as soon as we expected, too. But first, check out the official reveal trailer below:

Obviously Fortnite for the Nintendo Switch did not come as a surprise with the rampant amount of leaks that surfaced in the weeks leading up to E3. That said, it’s still great to see the official reveal trailer for it. Better yet, the game is officially available starting at 10AM PT for the Nintendo Switch, so fans can start downloading the Epic Games title almost immediately.

While it has yet to be officially announced, one of the recent Fortnite leaks suggested that players will be able to access exclusive content for the Save the World portion of Fortnite. It is currently anyone’s guess what these exclusive items could be, but it is Nintendo, so expect Mario, The Legend of Zelda, and other Nintendo franchise-themed items coming soon.

Fortnite is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch.
