Nintendo Announces Fire Emblem: Three Houses At E3 2018 (VIDEO)

During the Nintendo E3 2018 presentation, the developer presented quite a few surprises and long-awaited titles from their collection of franchises. From the highly-anticipated Super Smash Bros. to the expected, but surprise reveal of Super Mario Party and many more. To add to the beloved Fire Emblem series, Nintendo has introduced a new entry titled Fire Emblem: Three Houses with a much different look than its predecessors. Check it out below:

Though it still has the typical top-down gameplay view during tactical combat, they’ve introduced a fully-rendered animated style during cut scenes, roaming, and character interactions for a more realistic effect. This is quite a noticeable step away from its usual sprites and block-y design. Though the animations are still on-point. Additionally, the battlefields are larger and more realistic as well.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses is expected to release in Spring 2019 for the Nintendo Switch, the first F.E. title to make it out of handheld devices in a long time.
